India 2014

Of all the trips I’ve ever taken, India was by far the most challenging. It’s a tough slog, a huge culture shock, and each of the sanitation, poverty, and claustrophobia will make you have moments of regret, but through the chaos is a glimpse into a glorious past, a recovering present, and a future gaining steam. Most of the great architectural constructions in my trip through Northern India (Delhi-Agra-Amritsar-Shimla-Rajasthan (Jaipur – Fatehpur – Bikaner – Jaisalmer – Jodhpur) – Varanasi) came from the Mughals or the Rajputs, giving this trip a monumentally historical tinge. Enjoy!
